As foreign markets continue to expand and consumers seek out products tailored to their environment, the 'Collar Fan' is a clip-on fan designed to help those in sub-tropical countries keep cool. Designed by Chacko T. Kalacherry, the 'Collar Fan' works by being clipped onto the wearers collar (hence the name) where it uses a discreet fan to blow air onto the person's skin, beneath the clothing.
The conceptual 'Collar Fan' would work via a built-in battery that could be recharged after use. Created with two distinct function settings, the clip-on fan would either be able to be placed on manual mode or auto mode. The auto mode would continuously keep track of the wearers temperature and turn on or off accordingly for optimal comfort.
