EverGrain Recently Create New Sustainable Snacks

Bright Future Foods, a subsidiary of Post Holdings, recently joined forces with EverGrain, a barley ingredient brand supported by Anheuser-Busch, to launch the Airly Oat Cloud Crackers. Described as the "first-ever climate-positive snack," the snack was created to help tackle climate change with sustainable practices.

To produce this feat, the brands invested in carbon credits to offset packaging, production, transportation, and more. Moreover, the brands had a third party do a full life cycle analysis of the snack to ensure the food item was not eco-friendly but climate positive.

Mark Izzo, the CEO of Bright Future Foods, commented on the launch, stating: "EverGrain's innovative processes make its barley-based ingredients one of the most sustainable plant protein and fiber sources in the world, while Bright Future Foods is pioneering climate-friendly snacking that starts with greenhouse gas removing grains and targeting sustainable agriculture practices."
