Bathroom-Finding Apps

The 'Looie' App is Designed to Help Users Find a Clean Public Bathroom

Many people living in urban areas know that it can be quite a challenge to find a clean public bathroom when you need one. Now there is a new app called 'Looie,' which helps New York City residents track down the best and most sanitary public bathrooms in the city.

For a monthly fee of $25, Looie users will gain access to a network of clean public bathrooms. These bathrooms are guaranteed to be cleaned seven to 10 times per day, using only natural and organic cleaning products. The bathrooms will also be outfitted with decorative plants, air-conditioning units and changing tables for babies. As company founder Yezin Al-Qaysi explains, the goal of the app is to "make sure people can do their business in a ridiculously clean space, even if they are out and about all day."

The app is still in the early stages of development, but it will likely begin running in the Tribeca area in July of this year.
