Spring Santa is Helping AGF Japan Celebrate Christmas in Spring

AGF, a coffee company in Japan is now recreating Christmas in spring, helping people on Facebook and Twitter send a free gift to someone of their choosing, courtesy of course, by none other than Spring Santa. The social gifting campaign began on April 7th and every day until April 26th, 500 lucky users will get to send a free gift to someone of their choosing.

If you're one of the chosen 500, you have the chance to enter a personalized message, which will be read by Spring Santa himself. The gift comes in a Santa-shaped box (instead of red, his suit is sprout-like and green) and by placing your phone over Santa's mouth, an on-screen animation will make it seem like he's really speaking the words.

The campaign is quirky, but since it involves free stuff and gifts for no particular occasion, tons of people are bound to participate.
