Chocri Expands Operations to United States

With Chocri, consumers can create their own chocolate bars by selecting a base chocolate (white, milk or dark), to which they can add up to 5 toppings from an impressive assortment that includes both the traditional (like nuts and dried fruit) and the outrageous (like coriander and chives)! Chocri chocolates are made from the finest ingredients, including organic, fair-trade chocolate from Belgium.

The concept has worked so well in Europe (see their Chocri website in German), that Chocri is now expanding to the US. They will introduce new toppings for the US market, such as black sesame or peanut butter. As one of the founders said in their recent press release, "We could no longer continue to deny Americans the right to create their own chocolate bars."

Chocri's offers its consumers more than 10 billion possible combinations of customized chocolate. That includes bizarre combinations, such as chocolate with chive rolls, sea salt or jalapenos! But of course there are also more mainstream options, like chocolate with dried strawberries, toasted hazelnuts and Rice Krispies.
