City-Wide Truth or Dare

Chelsea Davison Encourages People to Get out of Their Bubble

In large urban metropolises, people can often become closed off towards each other as personal space becomes progressively less. Chelsea Davison, a copywriter by trade, took it upon herself to encourage New Yorkers to get out of their self-enclosed spaces and do something outgoing and perhaps even a little bit bizarre.

Davison printed 300 Truth or Dare cards that she then posted around the city. Individuals who read the cards were sometimes filmed carrying out the dare or discussing the specifics of the truth. Nothing too outrageous was asked, only things like quack like a duck out loud, spin around ten times fast or walk as if you're swimming.

The results were a mixture of comical interactions and solo displays of unorthodox behavior, all in the spirit of encouraging spontaneous socializing.
