Food-Topped Furniture

From Ham Beds to Cheese Living Rooms

This is as equal parts brilliant and crazy--a whole living room draped in cheese. It is from Cosimo Cavallaro, an artist that uses food as his medium to create very unique exhibits and sculptures. Previously he delighted me with his chocolate Jesus, and this large scale piece is reflected in the smaller current chocolate saints.

I hate the ham bed, and it creeps me out for reasons of which I am unsure. However, it is all around good work and it like nothing I have seen for a while.

See the video of him getting a hard time over the chocolate Jesus above.
