Charming Country Cabins

The 'Shelters By The Sea' Cabins Offer Safety From the Elements

'Shelters By the Sea' is an innovative project, put together by Danish firm Lumo Arkitekter, that involves the installation of wooden country cabins in 19 spots of notable coastal beauty throughout the South Fyn Archipelago of Denmark.

The cabins are inspired by the traditional structures used by Danish fishermen to store their catch. They are designed in five different styles and sizes up to a maximum floor space of 25 square meters and a maximum height of 4.68 meters.

Ultimately, these country cabins are very basic, but are perfect if you're a diver, surfer, camper or hiker looking to take some refuge from the elements. They make for a great way to promote outdoor activities in the gorgeous South Fyn area.
