Snøhetta Seeks to Benefit the Norwegian Cancer Society

The globally renowned architecture and design studio Snøhetta is embracing the season of giving with a charitable Christmas decoration launch. The line, which is comprised of three products, will raise money for the Norwegian Cancer Society. This is an annual campaign for Snøhetta—it is called the Christmas Star Campaign—and this is its 10th iteration.

This year's charitable Christmas decoration line includes a small and very elegant Christmas tree decoration made out of paper, a larger paper-based decoration that can go on one's window, and a limited-edition candle holder made from polished brass. During the making of this charitable range, the design firm emphasizes sustainability—priority is given to "designs that could be manufactured locally in Norway, avoiding the use of plastic." Additionally, the decorations boast a flat-pack design, making them easy to ship.
