Dyson Created 44 Activities for Kids to Try at Home

The James Dyson Foundation created 44 engineering and science challenge cards to entertain and educate kids as they spend mandatory time out of school stuck at home. The challenges task kids with making everything from balloon-powered cars to spaghetti bridges, each of which offers a learning opportunity that can be created just by using simple items from around the house like pencils, bottles, eggs or string.

The challenges for kids ages seven and up approach the activities scientifically, and include a brief, a method and an explanation of how each experiment works. With the 22 science and 22 engineering tasks, kids will come away learning how to create their own colorful underwater volcanos, how to skewer balloons without popping them and much more.
