It takes a special kind of owner to bestow a cat trophy upon their cat. While the honour would no doubt be lost on cats, who are often aloof creatures, it really is the thought that counts. The cat trophy was made by Archie McPhee, who seems to be building up a reputation as a designer who has a penchant for making strange products.
Cats sometimes deserve recognition as lazy, yet fiercely independent animals. Given that cats can be vain, it's entirely possible that the cat already believes that they're the best cat in the world, but with the trophy there's a tangible piece of equipment to prove it. The statue is 5 inches tall and is made of strong ceramics.
