Cat Competition Apps

Top Catz Lets Pet Owners Judge Cat Photos with Tinder-Style Swiping

Top Catz is a cat competition app that lets users swipe right or left to like or reject a cat, just like users do for human romantic prospects on Tinder.

The goal of the app is to find the world's best cat in a giant, global online cat competition. If the user has their own cat, they can post a picture to the app and compete. If not, they can simply swipe away, judging other people's furry feline friends from a comfortable distance.

Founder Alex Gale actually started the app as a frivolous side project to blow off steam while working on Bringson, a more serious courier hailing app (the Uber for couriers). Top Catz, however, has had surprising success, combining the addictive functionality of Tinder and the Internet's passion for all things cat.
