London-based designer and artist Adam Nathaniel Furman's cartoon-inspired cabinets are the perfect whimsical accessory to a monochromatic living space. Strongly influenced by Japanese anime shops from the 1960s, Furman combines bold geometrical forms and bright nuances to create unique and flamboyant furniture designs that breathe life wherever they are placed. The mobile cabinets are made out of power-coated steel and are multi-functional. In addition, they are fully portable with their orange wheels and can be customized to fit within any space.
The cabinets are named the Nakano Twins after a mall in Japan. The designer explains that his cartoon-inspired cabinets are made to mimic animated characters, to be "voluble, talkative little members of the household."
