Cheap Cardboard Standing Desks

Zachary Rotholz of Chairigami Designs an Affordable Healthy Desk

The Cardboard Standing Desk is a great alternative to the slew of expensive designs recently put on the market. Simple, sustainable and easily assembled, it is not just affordable, it is downright cheap. At $65, the Cardboard Standing Desk will ensure that people work in a healthier position without haven't to give up an arm and a leg to do so. That would make using it nigh impossible.

Designed by Zachary Rotholz of Chairigami, who is based in New Haven, Connecticut, the Cardboard Standing Desk is currently being crowdfunded on Kickstarter, which will help him put it through mass production. He writes, "There are a lot more folds and origami skills used in designing it. You can create stronger pieces just by folding. You can double up layers and fold them together in places that need strength, like the top and the legs."
