Imaginative Sunset Selfies

John Marshall Uses Cardboard Cutouts to Create Silly Shadowy Portraits

Writer and producer John Marshall found himself with a lot of extra time on his hands while living a month alone on an island in Maine, so he naturally took it upon himself to whip up some cardboard cutouts and see what sort of fun he could get up to.

In this delightful photoseries titled 'Sunset Selfies' Marshall was able to create a set of ludicrous, silly and definitely imaginative set of scenarios with nothing but some cardboard cutouts and a beautiful Maine sunset as his backdrop.

The simple cutouts play with the absence of light to form silhouettes of a number of interesting characters and generally absurd scenarios. Marshall is able to with just a little imagination find himself riding a dinosaur, jamming out with Kermit the Frog and even play ring toss off onto gigantic rhino's horn.
