The Candle Pour Allows Consumers to Mix and Create Own Candles

The Candle Pour is located in Hyde Park Village and invites customers to create their own candle fragrances. There are over 120 scents to choose from, with additional options with seasonal introductions. Visitors select or blend scents on a preference sheet to experiment with what blends work best with one another.

Co-founder of The Candle Pour, Dennis Akers, states, "we help you throughout the entire process [...] so all you’re going to focus on are individual scents that you like—what we will help you do is combine those scents to make a custom fragrance." The scents are then narrowed down to 2-4 options before figuring out the best proportions of the oil scents to be blended with the wax.
