Mystical Pony Cafes

The My Little Pony Cafe Design in Japan Celebrates the Magical Cartoon Equines

Japan has recently opened the world's first My Little Pony cafe design in Japan that allows guests to be entertained with food, drinks and decor inspired by the magical cartoon series. The cafe is located in Harajuku and offers a fully subversive experience to fans of the mythical equines.

The decor both outside and inside the cafe is themed with rainbows and colorful paintings and designs of ponies with luscious locks frolicking through fields, meadows and whimsical castles which appear in murals, on the tables and even in the chair designs. The food is also themed serving items named after and inspired by the characters of the show. For example, one dish features two chocolate banana pancakes topped with marshmallows, rainbow icing and edible rainbow pearls.
