Desert Outdoor Art

Cadillac Ranch

This strange outdoor art project takes place in the middle of the desert, and is comprised of ten half-buried Cadillacs covered in graffiti. These cars are known as the Cadillac Ranch, founded in 1974 by members of an art collective called Ant Farm.

The cars date from 1949 to 1963 and symbolize a number of evolutions of the car line.  Like the pyramids, the cars are also tilted towards the west.

I would love to see a UK version--I have a Triumph Herald that just snapped in two if anyone wants it (seriously).
