Vintage Straw-Netted Amphitheatres

Buru Buru by the Bittertang Farm Allows for Summer Performances

Buru Buru is a design by Bittertang Farm that allows for summer theater performances. The amphitheater is made from a straw netted material that blends in with the surroundings, and is meant to be overtaken by vegetation to add to that natural look.

The stage is set within the construction, allowing for the performers to come out further if they choose. LED lights are also hung inside, lighting up the stage so that the performers are not left in the dark. Because of the material used, the based of the structure winds outwards, even allowing for sections that the audience can sit on.

For taking in a show in nature, Buru Buru offers an ideal setting. Photo Credits: designboom, bittertang
