'The Glenfiddich Burns Night Experiment' Challenges Traditions

Burns Supper or Burns Night celebrations are annually held on January 25th—also known as Robert Burns Day, the birthday of poet Robert Burns. This year, single malt scotch whisky brand Glenfiddich is offering its own take on the tradition with 'The Glenfiddich Burns Night Experiment.'

Burns Night festivities commonly involves Scottish cuisine like haggis, neeps and tatties, but with its event, Glenfiddich aims to challenge convention with help from innovators like chef Ben Reade and Panda & Sons founder Iain McPherson. At the dinner, guests will be able to enjoy everything from Venison Tongue with green sauce to experimental cocktails like the Bobby Burns Slushy, which combines Glenfiddich Project XX, sweet vermouth, DOM Benedictine and gomme.

To round out the experience, The Glenfiddich Burns Night Experiment also includes performances to bring Burns' iconic work to life.
