Jumping Jackrabbit Competitions

Rabbit Hopping in Denmark

I have now officially seen it all and come to the end of the web with these show jumping rabbits from Denmark. Officially called 'Rabbit Hopping,' this bizarre phenomenon started in Sweden in the 1980s and has hopped along nicely since then.

I could not even get my darn rabbit (now dead, through no fault of my own) to even take a dandelion from my hand, so these guys must be pretty awesome. I guess if your rabbit is a rubbish jumper, and you take the sport seriously, you can just make a pie out of them--a lot easier than contending with rubbish show jumping horses.

I want to start a petition to have festivals like this in the UK.
