The Bugatti Noun Toaster Uses Ceramic Glass Panels to Heat Toast and Do Much More

Now, you can buy yourself a Bugatti for $1000 -- only it's not a Bugatti Veyron supercar but the Bugatti Noun toaster by kitchen appliance manufacturer Bugatti Casa.

The Bugatti Noun toaster doesn't use the typical glowing heating elements, instead utilizing two panels of transparent glass ceramic material with an ultra-high resistance semiconductor. These panels use infrared radiation to generate temperatures as high as 300 degrees Centigrade in just 80 seconds. This allows the device to not just toast bread but also cook a variety of other foods such as meat, fish and vegetables.

Food items are placed on the Bugatti Noun's cooking platform and lowered between the heating panels. The heating panels actually touch the sides of the food unlike in a regular toaster where heat is transferred through the air.

The toaster comes with a touchscreen display that allows users to select temperature and cooking time, and choose between a variety of preset functions. Food is automatically raised out of the toaster once cooked. The panels can be easily removed from cleaning.
