Krystal Has a New Buffalo Ranch Shrimp Po’ Boy for the Lenten Season

With the Lenten season now in full swing, Krystal has introduced a new Buffalo Ranch Shrimp Po’ Boy sandwich.

For those unfamiliar, the Lenten season is the period of penitential preparation for Easter. During this time, many will swap meat for fish, which is why the period has also become known as seafood season.

As part of its own 2022 Seafood Menu, Krystal has debuted a new Buffalo Ranch Shrimp Po’ Boy, which consists of crispy-fried shrimp, pickles, zesty Buffalo sauce, and creamy ranch all served on a steamed Pup bun. The brand is also offering a classic Shrimp Po’ Boy, which features the same crispy shrimp in a steamed Pup bun, but with tangy remoulade and pickles.
