Illuminated Water Towers

Brunce Munro Gives Salisbury Cathedral a Luminous Makeover

I’m loving Bruce Munro’s latest work because it provides some much needed lighting in churches.

Bruce Munro installed 15,000 bottles in Salsbury Cathedral to create a maze of illuminated water towers, all lit with color-changing LED lights in random patterns. There’s also a control system with reactive projectors that responds to music from the choir, making the towers look like colorful equalizers.
