Celebs Pay Their Way Out

Britney Spears Beats the Rap

Britney Spears paid off the woman she crashed into with her car and beat the rap. She still faces a misdemeanor charge of driving without a license for the August 6th, 2007 car accident. She has since gotten a driver's license so her lawyer, Michael Flanagan is arguing that the court should throw out the misdemeanor charge.

Implications - Flanagan says that Britney had insurance the entire time she was driving, so therefore, she should be spared. Spears seems to be in court a lot these days as she is appearing tomorrow to battle for her kids with her ex Kevin Federline. Many of Britney's fans are eagerly awaiting the court's verdict.
