It's hard to believe that talented photographer Brice Bischoff just so happened to be in the right place at the right time to capture these colorful ghosts! In reality, these ghosts aren't real. Bischoff created these colorful creepers himself using his camera and colored paper. To form these floating phantoms, Bischoff simply had to set his camera to an extremely long exposure, then position himself in front of it and wave pieces of colored paper. The long exposure causes the colors to blur and blend, also becoming transparent. This results in images containing hanging masses of prismatic light.
Bischoff shot all of these images in the Bronson Caves, a popular setting for science-themed movies and the perfect habitat for phantom-esque floaters.
