Tree Limb Racks

The Branch Coat Hanger by Harry Parr-Young is Inspired by Windsor Chairs

The Branch Coat Hanger looks as though it were plucked from the ground of a forest, cleaned up a bit and then mounted on the wall at the entrance of a home. In reality, not only was it modeled after something entirely different than a tree limb, it was completely constructed by hand. Influenced by the turned legs and spindles of Windsor chairs, the Branch Coat Hanger may appear organic, but it has a pegged appeal that is entirely not.

Designed by Harry Parr-Young, the Branch Coat Hanger is exclusively manufactured and distributed by Authentics. Recently exhibited at the London Design Festival, the hanger is made out of oak. Although it would be completely at home in a cottage, it suits urban homes as well.
