Psychedelic Garden Photography

This Botanical Photography Series is Unique and Lively

Turning her love for nature and her gardening passion into art, longtime photographer and gardener Kim Kauffman’s new ‘Florilegium’ botanical photography series is all about capturing the beauty of flowers in a unique and original way.

Using a camera-less, film-less image technique that turns normal photographs into these psychedelic lively images, the stunning botanical photography series helps viewers connect with nature in our very modern and urban world.

"Gardens are an easily accessible way to re-connect every day with the natural world, to be comforted by our place in it and to grow respectful of it," says Kauffman.

The series is all about the photographer sharing her experiences and concepts about her luscious garden, nature and life with the viewer.

"I did not want to simply make pretty documents of flowers and landscapes, but rather create images that would invite viewers to look more closely with a gardener’s eye at the subjects that fascinate me," says Kauffman.
