Tube-Lined Restaurants

This Restaurant Shows Off a Fresh Botanical Design

The botanical design of this restaurant is not the only element that makes it stand out.

Designed by the Japanese architecture studio 'Kengo Kuma,' this French restaurant is titled 'Nacrée.' The restaurant keeps its design looking fresh and feminine with pale and neutral colors throughout the whole space. Transparent tubes that are suspended from the ceiling line the edges of the restaurant and form waves rather than straight "walls," while a handful of glowing tubes act as chandeliers above the tables. The botanical design is made as such with both fresh and preserved flowers tucked away into some of the tubes, surrounding the restaurant with a strong floral aesthetic.

The botanical design of Nacrée ensures that the space remains playful and beautiful without being too extravagant.
