Staples Canada Honors Small Businesses with Boost My Biz Contest

In celebration of Small Business Month, Staples Canada has announced the winners of its "Boost My Biz" contest, shining a spotlight on small businesses making significant community impacts. Six deserving businesses from across Canada will receive prizes worth $5,000, encompassing technology, printing, furniture, and supplies, courtesy of Staples and its partners, including HP, gry mattr, and ergoCentric.

Rachel Huckle, President and COO of Staples Canada, remarked, "For over three decades, we've championed small businesses, recognizing their invaluable community contributions. 'Boost My Biz' is our tribute to these enterprises, offering them the tools to realize their utmost potential."

The contest, launched in June, invited Canadian small businesses to narrate their community impact stories. The overwhelming response showcased a diverse business spectrum. The six winners, chosen based on specific criteria, include Aspire Training, Knit Pickers, Ruff Start New Beginnings Rescue, Choose Life Foods, Maker Cube, and KIIMA. These businesses range from non-profits aiding the unemployed to hubs promoting creativity and sustainable cosmetic solutions.
