Jack Daniel's Debuts Its 'Bonded Tennessee Whiskey'

American whiskey brand Jack Daniel's has announced the launch of Jack Daniel’s Bonded Tennessee Whiskey, which arrives as the brand's first "super-premium" whiskey product in 25 years. In addition, the new expression will be the first offering in Jack Daniel's 'Bonded Series.'

The new whiskey uses Jack Daniel's signature blend of corn, malted barley, and rye. However, unlike Jack Daniel's other products, it has been aged in specialty barrels that were hand-selected for their color and aroma. The new 100-proof expression is said to deliver notes of caramel, spice, and rich oak.

"We started kicking around ideas about six years ago or so. And we had one idea or one word that led us there, and it was bold. We knew we wanted to create a bigger, bolder version of our classic Tennessee whiskey flavour profile that’s going to really stand up and cut through in cocktail application," said Chris Fletcher, Jack Daniel’s Master Distiller.
