The 'Body Systems' Collection Features Comedic Anatomy Diagrams

The 'Body Systems' collection by designer Rachel Ignotofsky aims to teach kids about the human body in a morbid and humorous way. Ignotofsky created a series of illustrations that diagram different biological systems in the human body. The designer chose to create amusing and cartoonish characters to get the information across. Each illustration features a different character with a certain body system emphasized.

Ignotofsky's illustrations highlight five different systems in the human body using anthropomorphic organs and comedic characters. Body Systems includes diagrams of the digestive, respiratory, cardiovascular, skeletal and nervous systems.

The Body Systems illustrations are currently available on Etsy. Ignotofsky printed the posters on matte cotton rag paper using Epson archival pigment inks to maximize the durability of the posters.
