Black Optical and Jacques Marie Launch Two Pairs of Statement Shades

Boutique eyewear brand Black Optical has joined forces with fashion label Jacques Marie Mage to launch an exclusive new collection of sunglasses. The concise new capsule will feature two statement shades: the Ascari and the Dealan, both of which were handcrafted in Japan and feature a custom turquoise acetate construction.

Both styles feature an extra-chunky cellulose acetate frame that is combined with gradient grey lenses. Because of this, these sunglasses possess a distinctly retro and playful aesthetic that should appeal to fashion-forward consumers who do not shy away from attention-grabbing pieces. In addition, both pairs come packaged with a limited-edition cleaning cloth that was designed by Addie Roanhorse, an artist working for Osage. The collection consists of just 30 total pieces -- 15 of each style.
