Bizarre Meatvertising

Diesel's 'Pete the Meat Puppet' Campaign

The latest of Diesel's videos, 'The Rise and Fall of Pete the Meat Puppet,' is some strange stuff indeed. It's the story of a boy who was created by a childless butcher. After the death of momma, he thumbed it down the road and got a job scrubbing toilets at a fast food joint called Circus Burger.

From there he shot to stardom and the trappings of fame. This lead to scandalous issues with cows, selling his body on the streets and cheating on his wife. Apparently poor Pete was so desperate one night he had to, "eat his own leg."

So what exactly does this have to do with jeans and perfume? I don't have a clue, but I played the video for a few seconds at home and my husband is singing the tune right now.
