'Co-Grain' Gives New Life to Disposable Packaging

The 'Co-Grain' bird feeder cereal packaging is an eco-friendly take on disposable product packaging that would give it new life and encourage a consumer to not dispose of it immediately after use.

The packaging features a cardboard construction that's filled with cereal and is capable of being augmented into a bird feeder after use. This is done by simply folding out the handle and miniature awnings for birds before hanging it up on a tree or support outdoors. The unit can hung up with leftover cereal or filled with additional seeds and grains to accommodate different preferences.

The 'Co-Grain' bird feeder cereal packaging is the design work of Lide Ma, Zhiyi Zou and Yuxuan Mao, and is capable of being completely recycled after use thanks to its kraft paper construction.
