The Alpla Biodegradable Coffee Capsules Have a Neutral Profile

The Alpla biodegradable coffee capsules have been created by the global packaging brand as a product that offers an alternative to single-use alternatives on the market. The coffee capsules feature an organic material composition that is capable of being filled with any kind of coffee grounds, and maintains a safe, recyclable, tasteless and odor-neutral format. Created for the Blue Circle brand, the coffee capsules are capable of being disposed of through organic waste bins for municipal collection or even placed into a home compost.

CCO Nicholas Lehner commented on the Alpla biodegradable coffee capsules saying, "With the biodegradable coffee capsule, we are not only helping our customers achieve their sustainability targets but are also acting in line with the new EU Packaging Regulation, which will require compostable solutions for individual coffee portion packaging in the future."
