Bill Dugin and his collection 'Nudes & Still Lifes' has taught me that the body can contort and twist in ways that I never could have imagined before. This series of photographs the artist hires dancers as models and that creates his own choreography to get the desired poses he craves. I could imagine being a dancer and having fluidity and flexibility would be important especially for something like this.
It could be interpreted that it is important to Bill Dugin that the models are nothing more than the physical components that make up a person's body. The life of the person is created through the "delicately intertwined with wig hair traces form the figure to sculpt a Still Life that is both subtly grotesque and elegant."
