The portable speaker is designed to be mounted above the rear wheel of a bicycle tire and lets out some serious sound. BikeBeatz contains two 6" x 9" speakers and a 240-watt amplifier. MP3 players can be hard-wired into the speaker or connected using an additional Bluetooth receiver. According to the company behind the speaker, a single charge is good for between six and 12 hours of use.
BikeBeatz is water-resistant and comes with its own mounting. The only drawback is its weight; the speaker weighs in at an extra 11 pounds. Still, if you aren't heading up hills or riding in a competition, 11 pounds isn't much. BikeBeatz is available now for $299.
