Enchanting Forest Exhibits

Matthew Ronay's Between the Worlds Installation Explores Rituals

Until now, I was sure that J.K. Rowling and J.R.R. Tolkien had created two of the most enchanting forests ever, yet I have to admit that the Between the Worlds art installation may have them beat, only because people can actually visit it in the real world. This tribalesque, half-burned forest has a mystical presence that will seep into your bones the moment you set eyes on it.

Created by Matthew Ronay, the Between the Worlds art installation explores the "theme of bizarre rituals, by building an immersive 'primordial forest,' where visitors are invited to tap into inherited memory and shared mythologies," as Fast Co Design puts it so aptly. Therefore, the Between the Worlds exhibit is transformed into a personal and meaningful space.
