Obacchi Jacket Bento Meals

Bento boxes are a tradition of Japanese cuisine. They are home-packed meals which can be very elaborately arranged and the food is decorated to look like people, animals, or characters and items such as flowers and plants.

Obacchi Jacket Lunch Box started selling custom-made Bento boxes designed to recreate a selection of classic album covers.

Included in this selection are the Jimi Hendrix Electric Ladyland lunch, made with nori seaweed, paprika (red & orange), egg and rice. The Kiss Destroyer lunch, made using egg, nori, ume (Japanese plum), kamaboko and rice. The Velvet Underground is made with Nori, egg and rice. Weezer is made of cabbage, nori, ham, kamaboko, paprika, rice and finally, the King Crimson - In the Court Of The King Crimson is made with mentaiko (cod roe), kamaboko, ham, nori and rice.

That King Crimson bento looks pretty creepy.
