Benoit Jammes Provides a Blast from the Past with Cassette Artwork

Graphic designer Benoit Jammes recreates iconic movies by using cassette tapes. Such movies as Kill Bill, Rambo and The Fountain get an upgrade and new look.

Many, especially those in a younger generation, may not even remember cassette tapes at all, which is why it is nice to see them being reused and commemorated. The result of the artwork is a contemporary look that is suitable for today all while paying homage to the classics and the technology we used to use long ago. The artist, who spoke to PSFK, stated that, "I think people from my generation relate to this work. Many enjoy the funny side of it, the references, they are happy to see that these old cassette tapes managed to start a new life!"

Each print is 24x32 inches and can be purchased by contacting Benoit Jammes directly at hello@benoitjammes.com.
