The Benjamin Bore Liquid Brick Installation is Making Waves

The Benjamin Boré Liquid Brick installation at Raum à La Box in France is definitely an installation I wouldn't want to come across unexpectedly. The piece hopes to encourage people to question the harshness of their city infrastructure. To design this interactive installation, Benjamin Boré laid a water-filled pouch on the street and commenced to cover the pocket with bricks. These bricks are the same ones used to pave the road, so it appears as if there is a solid bump in the road.

However, this bump is anything but solid. Onlookers can walk across this piece of road and jump on it, causing the bricks to ripple and form pavement waves.

The Benjamin Boré Liquid Brick installation is solidly stupendous.
