Ocean-Crossing Beer Fridges

Molson's Beer Fridge Project Preps Canadians for the Olympics

For this branch of Molson’s Beer Fridge Project, the Canadian beer company made a trek to the remote Gili Islands in Indonesia, to set up another Canadian friend with all he’d need to watch the Canadian teams compete at the winter Sochi Olympics.

As one of the sponsors for the Canadian Olympic committee, Molson helped to send Ryan and Phil, a satellite dish and a fridge full of beer to their friend Morgan to give him an authentic Canadian Olympic experience.

The Beer Project video shows the long voyage of the iconic red fridge as it travels on boats and rafts, plus the heartwarming reunion of the trio at the end of the journey. Molson’s standout campaign truly shares what it is to be Canadian, no matter where you’re living on the planet.
