'The View From Here' is a photo series that showcases beautiful streetscapes from around the world. While The view from someone's windowsill may seem ordinary, these photos provide a unique perspective on urban life in different parts of the world.
To produce the captivating series, 27 different photographers were asked to take a picture of their view in the morning and then again later that night. These photographers were also asked to describe what they were seeing, hearing and smelling as they peered out of their window. Some of the beautiful streetscapes feature towering skyscrapers, while others depict sprawling fields and mountains. The project inspired the photographers to think about their lives and how they feel about the city they call home. While the views may be different, this series reveals that the feelings about our cities are often universal.
