Homey Heirloom Packaging

The Barish Bakers Packaging Takes You Back to Your Grandma's Kitchen

Design student Allison Braunstein crafted this stunning package design for a fictional line of baked goods entitled Barish Bakers. Named for her grandmother Anne Barish, this packaging is inspired by the designer's grandmother. Evoking that sense of warmth and comfort, the Barish Bakers packaging is wonderfully homey.

The Barish Bakers packaging was mostly inspired by Marthas Vineyard, where Braunstein spent every summer. She also references Victorian-era cook books, which is evident in her use of ornate typography and scroll-work. Each baked good housed in each box is pictured on the front in full color. The background of the packages feature a monochrome utensil motif that allows the colorful label to pop in contrast.

Warm, simple and every bit as comforting as the baked goods it houses, the Barish Bakers packaging is just like grandma's kitchen.
