Bamboo Bike Rides the Path of Environmentalism

As an avid cyclist, I’m always looking for a lighter ride that lets me go faster and is easier for long trail treks. Well, I believe the Bamboo Bike is the lightest ride I’ve come across yet.

Built by a small Japanese company called Courtesy Bamboo Bike Studio, of which all three employees are in their late 20s, they specialize in building hybrid cycles where the frame is constructed from actual bamboo stems and the rest of the bike uses conventional parts.

A light ride, an inexpensive price and a relatively low eco footprint, the Bamboo bike is sure to satisfy many hardcore riders out there.
