October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Hard Rock Cafe is raising awareness of the issue by teaming up with renowned chef and breast cancer survivor, Dominique Crenn, on a new Baja Style Shrimp Tacos dish.
Chef Crenn’s Baja Style Shrimp Tacos is a limited-time dish that will be available throughout the month of October. A fresh new option, the Baja Style Shrimp Tacos start with three achiote-marinated shrimp tacos topped with a flavorful combination of pickled red onions, charred salsa roja, spicy pepitas, avocado, and shredded cabbage. The whole thing is served in a warm flour tortilla.
As exciting as the new menu item is, the reason behind it is even better. The dish is part of Hard Rock Cafe's 23rd annual PINKTOBER campaign, which raises funds for the American Cancer Society and other local charities.
