Literal Spine Posture Trackers

The 'Dullahan' Device Indicates Bad Posture Through LEDs

Many consumers are becoming more aware of bad posture as many find themselves in occupations that have them sitting all day, so the 'Dullahan' is a device that artistically identifies problems.

Designed by James Edwards, the 'Dullahan' device features a series of LEDs throughout the spine-inspired design. When in proper alignment, the 'Dullahan' glows blue; when a deviation from the alignment is detected, that section glows red.

More of an artistic endeavor that a device for correcting bad posture, the 'Dullahan' is worn on the back of the sternum and doesn't make it easy to sit comfortably. However, this could be interpreted as a key point in the artistic design as a way to encourage healthier habits.
