Wright Brand is Marking 100 Years with a Limited-Edition Bacon Cake

Wright Brand is about to mark 100 years in business and the bacon brand has decided to celebrate in a rather unique way – with a limited-edition Bacon Cake.

A first-of-its-kind savory cake, the new Bacon Cake is made from real, thick-cut, wood-smoked bacon. More specifically, this four-pound cake features alternating layers of cheddar scallion cornbread and sweet corn bacon filling. The whole thing is then topped with a hot honey cream cheese bacon spread, bacon rosettes, and pieces of Wright Brand Bacon. The recipe was developed by Darnell Reed, Chef and Owner of Chicago-based Luella's Southern Kitchen, in partnership with Wright Brand and, in total, features 1.5 pounds of bacon incorporated throughout.

Fans can purchase this limited-edition Wright Brand Bacon Cake from select markets online, but only while supplies last.
