The Automated Range Coop Ensures Chickens Graze on Fresh Crops

Pasturebird created the 'Automated Range Coop' (ARC), a solar-powered chicken coop built on motorized wheels. The ARC features a capacity of 6,000 chickens and built-in solar panels that allow it to maintain its power while moving around a field. The ARC's 32 wheels allow it to move up to 50 meters in only seven minutes at a speed that does not harm the chickens inside of it.

The ARC brings a clear range of benefits to the quality and reliability of raising chickens. One of the challenges of raising chickens is the demand for fresh fields to graze on. While many farmers use troughs with pre-cut food for the chickens, the ARC allows a farmer to transport its coop onto fresh grass periodically. This means the farmer can grow and restore each section of the field as it is not in use, ensuring that the 6,000 chickens always have a fresh field to enjoy.

Pasturebird believes that this coop will help it meet the ever-rising demand for its products due to its energy efficiency and the improved conditions of the chickens.
